Applied Materials - Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the overall quality strategy for product features and releases.

- Lead end-to-end qualification efforts across tool platforms and system-level components.

- Establish scalable quality frameworks, automation strategies, and best practices.

- Partner with engineering and product leadership to influence design and development for

quality.

- Own the release readiness process, including go/no-go decisions based on quality metrics.

- Mentor and grow a high-performing quality engineering team.

- Represent quality in cross-functional leadership forums and executive reviews.

- Continuously assess and improve quality KPIs, tooling, and processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 15 - 20yrs years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Proven experience in quality assurance and testing.

- Strong knowledge of tool platform and system-level qualification.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to lead and mentor a team.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Tool platform, Application-Platform integration flows, end-to-end qualification involving system, simulation.

- Certification in quality assurance or related field
