We are seeking a skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth deployment, operation, and support of business-critical applications. This role involves managing application and database deployments, resolving production incidents, improving system stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud-based production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting within distributed systems.


Key Responsibilities :


- Plan and execute application and database deployments in line with Change Management processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve real-time production incidents, ensuring timely communication and escalation.

- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and lead post-incident reviews.

- Implement and optimize system monitoring and alerting tools.

- Ensure system stability, performance, and adherence to defined SLAs.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational excellence.

- Maintain up-to-date support documentation and knowledge articles.

- Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.

- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents.


Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in application or production support, preferably in cloud environments (GCP).

- Strong knowledge of system monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting tools.

- Proficient in Windows/Linux/Unix environments.

- Hands-on experience with Apache, IIS, and SQL queries.

- Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell) for automation is a plus.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, PagerDuty, Jenkins, GitHub, and O365 is desirable.
