About the Role :

We are seeking a motivated Application Support Specialist with experience in Third-Party Platforms (TPP) within the Insurance or Mutual Fund domain.
The candidate will provide day-to-day support for critical applications, ensuring seamless operations and quick resolution of incidents.
The role requires strong IT troubleshooting skills, domain understanding, and coordination with technical and business teams.


Key Responsibilities :

- Provide application support for TPP systems used in insurance or mutual fund operations.

- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and resolve incidents to ensure minimal downtime.


- Handle incident management, problem resolution, and service requests in accordance with SLAs.

- Analyze transaction failures, application logs, and alerts to identify root causes.

- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors for issue resolution and system enhancements.

- Maintain support documentation, including SOPs, incident reports, and knowledge base

updates.

- Assist in system upgrades, patch deployments, and configuration changes.

- Communicate effectively with business users to provide updates on issue resolution and

process improvements.

- Participate in on-call rotations as required for critical production support.

- Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory guidelines, and data security standards.



Technical Skills Required :


- Strong experience in application support for TPP systems in Insurance or Mutual Fund domain.

- Understanding of insurance/mutual fund operations, transactions, and processing workflows.

- Knowledge of incident management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).

- Familiarity with databases (SQL/Oracle) for troubleshooting and reporting.

- Understanding of integration points, APIs, and third-party application interfaces.

- Basic knowledge of batch processing, reporting tools, and system monitoring.

- Experience in supporting web or mobile applications is a plus.



Soft Skills :


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.

- Good communication and coordination skills with technical and non-technical teams.

- Proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.


Educational Qualification :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
