Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team at the client location in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes environments, microservices-based applications, cloud technologies, and monitoring solutions.

You will be responsible for ensuring high availability and optimal performance of applications, while working closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide application support for microservices-based applications in production environments.

- Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications running on Kubernetes clusters.

- Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics for performance and availability tracking.

- Analyze logs and performance metrics to diagnose and resolve issues proactively.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable delivery of applications.

- Assist in deployment activities and ensure post-deployment stability.

- Maintain clear documentation of support procedures and solutions.

- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and have familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in application support engineering, particularly in Kubernetes and microservices environments.

- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.

- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Experience with monitoring solutions like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially in performance monitoring and log analysis.

- Good understanding of Java and Angular technologies.

- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and design patterns.

- Working knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA2.

- Proficiency in scripting using Shell and Python.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

- Certification(s) in Kubernetes or cloud platforms.
