About the Role :

Were looking for an experienced Application Release Manager to own and optimize our release processes across QA, UAT, and Production environments in a secure AWS-based FinTech platform.

Youll be the gatekeeper for deployments, ensuring every release is smooth, automated, and compliant enabling reliable, audit-ready software delivery in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

What Youll Do :

- Manage and coordinate deployments across QA, UAT, and Production environments.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation and configuration records for all environments.

- Perform post-release validation and smoke testing to confirm stability.

- Link releases to Git commits, JIRA tickets, and release/change documentation.

- Prepare and present change requests (CRs) to the CAB with Delivery Manager support.

- Drive automation and CI/CD improvements using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

- Ensure monitoring, alerting, and logging are in place for all environments.

- Troubleshoot non-production environment issues and manage demo/sandbox environments.

- Track and optimize environment costs and resource usage.

What Youll Bring :

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, Terraform/CloudFormation).

- Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

- Deep understanding of Git, branching strategies, and release versioning.

- High proficiency with JIRA (workflow management, release tracking, and reporting).

- Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar) able to automate and streamline deployment processes.

- Experience working in FinTech or other regulated industries, with strong awareness of governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

Nice to Have :


- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.

- Knowledge of blue/green or canary deployment strategies.

- ITIL, AWS, or DevOps certifications.

- Familiarity with AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, or other cost management tools
