Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct penetration tests across various platforms including applications, network, mobile (Android & iOS), cloud, and APIs to identify vulnerabilities.
- Perform thorough security assessments of critical systems, networks, and applications to detect advanced threats and potential security weaknesses.
- Utilize penetration testing tools and frameworks like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, NMAP, and other open-source or custom tools for testing.
- Develop custom exploit code and scripts to exploit vulnerabilities, demonstrating security risks to stakeholders.
- Provide detailed reports on findings, including an analysis of vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and recommended remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and follow best practices to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct advanced penetration testing methodologies, including red teaming, black-box testing, and advanced exploitation techniques.
- Ensure all security vulnerabilities are addressed and contribute to the development of secure coding practices and secure architecture design principles.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and tools in the penetration testing field.
Skillset :
- Strong hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, NMAP, and custom/open-source tools.
- Expertise in penetration testing on various platforms : web applications, mobile applications (Android & iOS), cloud environments, and APIs.
- Solid understanding of cryptography, secure coding practices, and secure architecture design principles.
- Proficient in advanced penetration testing techniques, including red teaming, black-box testing, and exploit development.
- Hands-on experience with mobile app penetration testing (both Android and iOS) is mandatory.
