The Application Engineer will act as a technical expert supporting customers, internal teams, and product development.

This role involves understanding client requirements, configuring applications, providing technical support, and ensuring successful implementation of solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with application development, integration, or technical support.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Requirement Analysis :

- Work directly with customers to understand business needs and technical requirements.

- Conduct discovery sessions, requirement workshops, and feasibility assessments.

- Translate customer problems into product configurations or custom solution proposals.

Solution Design & Application Configuration :

- Configure and customize application modules based on client requirements.

- Develop workflows, automation, rules, dashboards, or system integrations as needed.

- Prepare detailed technical solution documents and implementation plans.

Implementation & Deployment :

- Execute end-to-end application setup, testing, and deployment.

- Work closely with product, development, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.

- Support UAT activities and troubleshoot configuration-related issues.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide Level 2/L3 technical support for application-related queries and issues.

- Investigate bugs, analyze logs, and work with engineering teams for fixes.

- Ensure minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.

Customer Training & Enablement :

- Deliver product demos, technical training, and user onboarding sessions.

- Create user documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.

- Support customers in adopting new features or enhancements.

Product Improvements & Feedback :

- Gather customer insights and share inputs with the product team.

- Identify gaps, recommend product enhancements, and influence roadmap decisions.

- Participate in testing of new features/releases before deployment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Collaborate with sales teams for pre-sales support, solution scoping, and RFP responses.

- Coordinate with engineering teams to implement custom configurations or integrations.

- Support marketing with technical inputs, case studies, and product narratives when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with application development, configuration, or solution engineering.

- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.

- Understanding of API integrations (REST/SOAP), backend systems, and databases.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
