The Application Developer - Oracle Cloud Reporting is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and data extracts within the Oracle Cloud SaaS environment. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), and Oracle Cloud data models to deliver high-quality reporting solutions that support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy BI Publisher and OTBI reports in Oracle Cloud SaaS (HCM, ERP, or SCM modules).

- Create and maintain data extracts for integrations and business analytics.

- Analyze and interpret business requirements to translate them into effective reporting solutions.

- Utilize a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud SaaS data models to optimize queries and report performance.

- Work closely with functional teams to identify reporting needs, validate data accuracy, and ensure compliance with reporting standards.

- Perform troubleshooting, optimization, and enhancements of existing reports and dashboards.

- Support data validation, testing, and documentation for all developed reports.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants and technical developers, to ensure seamless reporting integration and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- Experience in Oracle Cloud Reporting or Oracle BI tools.

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI.

- Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud SaaS data model (HCM, Financials, Procurement, or SCM).

- Experience in SQL and data extraction techniques.

- Ability to analyze data structures and build efficient, scalable queries.

- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Applications and security roles related to reporting.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Oracle Data Model Extensions (DME) and BI Subject Areas customization.

- Knowledge of Fusion Middleware, OTBI Enterprise, or OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud).

- Prior experience in Oracle Cloud Implementations or upgrades.
