Application Deployment Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Deployment Engineer with over 3 years of experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise applications in physical and virtual environments.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in SCCM, App-V, Wintel platforms, scripting languages, and ITIL processes.

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of applications while supporting Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Package, test, and deploy software applications using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and App-V.

- Manage and deploy virtualized applications using App-V Management Console across physical and virtual infrastructures.

- Create and maintain application deployment collections, task sequences, and baselines.

- Perform deployments and updates in compliance with enterprise configuration standards.

- Troubleshoot deployment failures and application-related issues using WQL, WMI, PowerShell, and VBScript.

- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to resolve issues related to Wintel environments (DFS, Storage, Networking, Active Directory).

- Ensure proper documentation of all deployments, configurations, and changes.

- Follow and support ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

- Coordinate with stakeholders for deployment planning, execution, and validation.

- Work collaboratively in a 24/7 support model and ensure timely issue resolution during assigned shifts.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM/ConfigMgr.

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with App-V Management Console.

- Expertise in PowerShell and VBScript scripting for automation and troubleshooting.

- Good knowledge of WQL (WMI Query Language) and WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation).

- Exposure to Windows Server technologies DFS, File Shares, AD, Networking, and Storage.

- Working knowledge of SQL Server for query execution and basic database troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with application compatibility testing, packaging, and patch deployment.

Qualifications :

Education : B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / M.Tech or any equivalent technical degree from a reputed institute
