We are seeking an accomplished Appian Lead Engineer / Senior Appian Developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in Appian application architecture, design, and development.

This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in end-to-end solution design, process optimization, and platform governance - combining deep Appian BPM expertise with strong DevOps integration skills using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

You will work closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to design scalable Appian solutions, provide technical leadership, and ensure seamless application deployment across environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and develop complex enterprise-grade applications on the Appian BPM platform.

- Provide technical leadership in defining scalable solutions and best practices for process automation and low-code development.

- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate business requirements into technical workflows and process models.

- Implement Appian plug-ins, smart services, and integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and external systems.

- Drive Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins, ensuring streamlined deployment cycles.

- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and provide end-to-end technical support during development and production stages.

- Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to Appian design standards and coding guidelines.

- Contribute to architecture reviews, scalability testing, and code optimization efforts for enterprise implementations.

Technical Skills & Expertise :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Appian BPM (v19.x and above) across design, development, and consulting.

- Strong proficiency in Appian SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, and Web APIs.

- Deep understanding of Appian Architecture, Data Management, and Security Configurations.

- Experience in Appian plug-in development using Java (advantageous).

- Proven expertise in CI/CD using Jenkins, including scripting for automated deployments.

- Strong knowledge of SQL, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and integration frameworks.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments.

- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

- Appian Level 2 or Level 3 Certified Developer.

- Exposure to cloud deployment environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Strong analytical, consulting, and communication skills.
