We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement business applications using Appian BPM. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring robust integration with enterprise systems, and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and proven experience in Appian application design, development, and deployment.

Role Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field

- 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Appian BPM development and design

- Strong understanding of industry concepts, best practices, and standards in BPM development

- Ability to manage complex tasks and provide consultation for intricate projects

- Proficiency in working with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement Appian-based business applications

- Build and maintain process models, records, reports, and SAIL interfaces

- Develop integrations between Appian and external/cloud vendor platforms

- Ensure end-to-end application testing, debugging, and deployment

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and solutioning

- Provide technical expertise, best practices, and recommendations on Appian solutions

- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for applications

- Document application architecture, configurations, and processes for knowledge transfer

- Train and guide junior developers and IT staff on Appian application development

Required Skillsets :

- Proficiency in Appian BPM Suite (19.x or higher) including SAIL, Process Models, Records, Sites, and Reports

- Strong knowledge of Appian plug-ins, connected systems, and smart services

- Experience in integrating Appian applications with external systems using REST, SOAP, or RDBMS

- Expertise in Java, J2EE, SQL, and Web Services for advanced Appian customizations

- Familiarity with Appian Cloud environment and deployment strategies

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery
