Role Overview :

As an Apigee Lead at AppZime Technologies, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing API management solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality API solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding the team, ensuring adherence to best practices, and driving innovation in API management. This role directly impacts our clients' ability to securely expose their data and services, enabling them to build new digital experiences and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of API proxies and policies using Apigee, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability for our clients.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Apigee development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to define API requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Implement and maintain API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and threat protection, to safeguard sensitive data.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to API performance, security, and functionality, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Contribute to the development of API documentation and training materials, empowering clients to effectively utilize our API solutions.

- Manage Apigee Hybrid deployments, ensuring seamless integration with on-premise and cloud environments.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex API solutions using Apigee, including API proxies, policies, and custom extensions.

- Proven expertise in API security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and API key management.

- Strong understanding of API design principles, including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and Apigee Hybrid deployments.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
