We are Hiring : Apigee Consultant

- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for Apigee API Management (APIM) platform, ensuring stability, availability, and performance of enterprise APIs.

- Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within defined SLAs, including critical/high priority issues.

- Perform detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex API and integration issues across environments.

- Monitor API traffic, performance, latency, and error rates using Apigee analytics and logging tools, and take proactive corrective actions.

- Handle service requests and support tickets, ensuring timely resolution, accurate updates, and clear communication with stakeholders.

- Implement minor enhancements, configuration changes, and API policy updates (e.g., security, throttling, routing) as per business needs.

- Support deployment activities, environment configurations, and post-deployment validation for production releases.

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution, defect fixes, and platform improvements.

- Ensure API security, governance, and adherence to organizational standards and best practices.

- Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides for operational efficiency.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending automation or process enhancements.

Mandatory skills :

Apigee Platform Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and Apigee X development, administration, and production support.

- Experience supporting and configuring Apigee Edge Microgateway deployments.

- Expertise in API Proxy development and management.

- Experience with Shared Flows, Flow Hooks, Products, Developers, Apps, KVMs, Target Servers, and Environment Management.

API Development & Integration :

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.

- Experience in API design, development, deployment, and lifecycle management.

- Knowledge of JSON, XML, XSLT, and data transformation patterns.
