API Performance Testing

Description :

We are seeking an experienced API Performance Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing methodologies and tools, with a focus on ensuring the scalability and efficiency of our API services.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement performance test strategies for APIs.

- Conduct load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing for APIs.

- Analyze and interpret performance test results, providing recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize API performance.

- Create and maintain performance test plans, scripts, and documentation.

- Monitor API performance in production environments and report on key metrics.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure performance considerations are integrated into the development process.

Skills and Qualifications :

- 6- 10 years of experience in API performance testing or related field.

- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

- Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services and their performance characteristics.

- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

- Knowledge of performance monitoring tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or Grafana.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
