Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced API Management & Gateway Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing API Management & Gateway solutions, with a strong preference for expertise in Gravitee.

This role will be crucial in helping our firm design and implement a comprehensive API Management & Gateway project.

Total years of Experience :

Overall, around 8-10 years of experience

3-4 years of API Management experience

5-6 years of backend API development experience

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate the design and architecture of our API Management & Gateway solution, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

- Implement and configure the API Gateway according to our firm's specific requirements.

- Collaborate with internal team to implement API policies, including security, rate limiting, caching, and transformation.

- Integrate the API Gateway with existing systems and services within our infrastructure.

- Optimize API performance and implement monitoring and analytics solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on API Gateway best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

- Develop documentation for API Gateway configurations, policies, and usage guidelines.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to API Gateway implementation.

Required Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with designing and implementing API Management & Gateway solutions.

- Strong expertise in at least one major API Gateway platform (Gravitee experience highly preferred).

- Strong Java programming skills with experience in developing and maintaining Java-based applications.

- Proficiency in RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger & OpenAPI standards).

- Experience with databases, particularly MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

- Experience with API security protocols (OAuth, JWT, API Keys, etc.).

- Solid understanding of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP) and web services.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
