Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced API Integration Engineer with strong Python programming and API development expertise, along with exposure to MuleSoft and Databricks. The role focuses on designing, developing, and integrating scalable APIs and building reliable, production-grade integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and integrate REST/SOAP APIs for scalable and reliable applications.

- Build and maintain production-grade APIs using Python and industry-standard development practices.

- Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and API keys.

- Ensure effective error handling, logging, resiliency, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Follow clean coding practices, software design principles, and version control standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Support API integration with data platforms and cloud environments.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming and API development.

- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and integrating REST/SOAP APIs.

- Strong understanding of API integration patterns and scalable API architecture.

- Experience with OAuth, JWT, API keys, authentication, and authorization.

- Expertise in error handling, logging, resiliency, and debugging.

- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).

- Experience building scalable, production-grade APIs.

- Proficiency in Git/GitHub, clean coding practices, and software design principles.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to Databricks within a data platform ecosystem.

- Experience with Flask or Django.

- Experience integrating APIs with data platforms.

- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
