We are seeking a highly skilled API Automation Tester with expertise in Java, Selenium, and API/Web Services automation to join our QA team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical proficiency in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and API testing, with the ability to mentor teams and drive automation excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for UI (Selenium WebDriver with Java) and API/Web Services (REST & SOAP).

- Implement and enhance hybrid/custom automation frameworks for scalable and maintainable test execution.

- Utilize tools such as ReadyAPI (preferred), REST Assured, Postman, or SOAP UI for API testing.

- Apply TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins for test execution, CI/CD integration, and pipeline automation.

- Drive TDD/BDD practices and integrate automated tests into Agile development workflows.

- Perform continuous ST, SIT, and E2E regression automation using Jenkins pipelines.

- Integrate test data dynamically from databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL) for robust validation.

- Work collaboratively with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to translate requirements into automated test scenarios.

- Ensure alignment with Agile practices using tools like Jira, Rally, Jenkins, Git.

- Provide mentorship and training to QA teams on automation best practices and emerging tools.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and API Automation.

- Strong experience in ReadyAPI/REST Assured with deep understanding of REST/SOAP testing.

- Proven knowledge in framework design, maintenance, and scalability.

- Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira/Rally.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to mentor team members and contribute to automation strategy.
