About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced API Automation Test Lead with strong expertise in automation frameworks, test scripting, integration testing, and regression automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Selenium, Appium, PyTest, and API automation frameworks, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for designing test strategies, building automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and leading quality initiatives across projects.

Must-Have Skills (Minimum 4+ Years of Hands-On Experience) :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.

- Create and review test scenarios, test conditions, and reusable test components.

- Implement BDD frameworks and contribute to developing scalable automation infrastructure.

- Develop and enhance automated test cases using :

1. Element locators

2. WebDriver methods

3. Java/Python programming concepts

- Handle data-driven testing, error handling, and automation script optimization.

- Execute automated test cases across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.).

- Generate, analyze, and export detailed test execution reports.

- Identify defects, log them in defect tracking tools, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Support continuous integration and continuous testing within the CI/CD pipeline.

- Lead quality processes, mentor junior testers, and ensure adherence to QA best practices.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to mobile automation architecture

- Understanding of BDD/TDD principles

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, test design, and script optimization.

- Strong communication and coordination abilities for working with onshore/offshore teams.
