Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced API Automation Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of RESTful services.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in API testing and automation and will work closely with development teams to validate backend services and integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute API automation test cases

- Validate API responses, schemas, data accuracy, and error handling

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for APIs

- Analyze API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI) and business workflows

- Collaborate with developers to understand API design and dependencies

- Identify, document, and track defects through the testing lifecycle

- Improve test coverage and efficiency through automation best practices

- Integrate API automation tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5- 7 years of hands-on experience in API testing and automation

- Strong experience with RESTful APIs

- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks

- Strong understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, authentication mechanisms, and JSON/XML

- Experience with test data management and validation

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
