As an SDET Engineer, youll be embedded with our engineering team, driving the test strategy across our suite of payment solutions.
You'll design and implement robust test automation frameworks and contribute to a culture of engineering quality.
You'll understand the criticality of precision, compliance, and speed in building financial products, and youll thrive in the agility and flexibility of a startup environment.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, backend, and API services using modern methodologies like modern test automation frameworks, continuous testing, and shift-left testing methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle and ensure testability from design to release.
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and prevent regressions, contributing to a culture of proactive quality assurance.
- Drive testing initiatives across performance, security, and reliability, and define quality gates for critical fintech components.
- Advocate for best practices in CI/CD, test data management, observability, and regulatory compliance within the payments domain.
ABOUT YOU :
- Demonstrable experience as an SDET or QA Engineer with strong automation experience.
- Deep understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices in fast-paced environments.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Expertise with tools like Postman, K6/Gatling, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment fast-paced & dynamic environment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, AWS CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills; ability to triage production and test failures.
