Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Backend Python Developer with strong expertise in Python application development, microservices, API development, and backend architecture. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable backend applications and should also have contributed to Agentic AI / Generative AI implementations within the last 2 years.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

- Build and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Develop high-performance, scalable and maintainable application components.

- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices in application development.

- Implement multi-threading/concurrency where required for performance and scalability.

- Work on system integration, API integrations and backend services.

- Design and develop components for GenAI and Agentic AI applications.

- Contribute to development of AI agents, agent workflows, orchestration, tool/function calling, RAG or LLM-powered applications.

- Integrate LLMs and AI capabilities into enterprise/backend applications.

- Troubleshoot performance, scalability and production issues.

- Collaborate with architects, frontend engineers, AI/ML engineers and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architecture/design decisions.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on Python development experience.

- Strong experience in Backend Application Development.

- Experience developing Microservices.

- Strong experience in REST API / API development.

- Good understanding and practical application of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programming, and Multi-threading/Concurrency.

- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI / Generative AI implementation in the last 2 years.

- Experience integrating LLMs/GenAI capabilities into applications.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging and production support.
