Apexon - MDM Developer

Job Title : MDM Consultant (Informatica MDM or Reltio)

Location : Preferably Bengaluru or any Apexon Location

Experience : 5 to 9 years (Minimum 4+ years in MDM implementation)

Work Mode : Hybrid / Remote

Reports To : MDM Lead / Data Architect / Project Manager

Job Summary :

- Perform MDM hub configurations, data modeling, match/merge rule tuning, survivorship rule setup, and trust configuration

- Configure and enhance IDD (Informatica Data Director) and/or Reltio UI for data stewardship, workflows, and validations

- Develop data mappings, transformation logic, and data validations aligned with business rules

- Interpret business requirements, define technical architectures, and convert them into robust MDM solutions

- Collaborate with business analysts, data stewards, source system owners, and data governance teams

- Define and implement data security, role-based access, and audit mechanisms

- Participate in use case design, test scenario definition, and support during testing and deployment phases

- Work closely with data architects to define and refine data architecture for master data domains

- Support performance tuning, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives in MDM environments

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in Informatica MDM core components (Hub, IDD, SIF APIs)

- Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc)

- Solid understanding of MDM concepts like golden record creation, data mastering, survivorship, and hierarchies

- Experience in Reltio MDM is a plus; willingness to learn Reltio or other MDM tools is essential

- Strong knowledge of match/merge tuning, data stewardship processes, and MDM best practices

- Ability to document and communicate technical architectures and standards effectively

- Hands-on experience with data integration and ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or others
