Antino Labs - Software Test Engineer - Mobile App Testing

Description :

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with strong experience in API testing using Postman, functional testing, and mobile application testing.

The candidate should be hands-on with JIRA for bug tracking and test documentation, along with strong proficiency in Excel for reporting and test metrics.

The role involves creating well-structured test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring delivery of high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities :

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Perform API Testing using Postman, validating request/response format, status codes, headers, payloads, and error handling

- Conduct functional testing to ensure application features work as intended

- Carry out mobile application testing on Android/iOS platforms ensuring UI/UX consistency and stability

- Execute regression, smoke, sanity, compatibility and exploratory testing based on requirements

- Participate in release cycles and support UAT execution as required

Test Documentation & Reporting :

- Prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios and test data based on requirements specifications

- Log, track, and update defects in JIRA, ensuring clarity in bug description and reproduction steps

- Document test execution results and prepare test summary reports using Excel/JIRA dashboards

- Maintain structured documentation for traceability and test coverage mapping

Collaboration & Process Improvement :

- Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and product teams to clarify functionality and reproduce issues

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile environment

- Contribute towards process improvement in QA lifecycle, automation readiness & test optimization

Required Qualifications :

- Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in Software Testing (manual/functional/API)

- Proven hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman

- Experience in mobile testing (Android/iOS)

- Ability to write clear, comprehensive, and reusable test cases

- Strong experience in logging and managing defects in JIRA

- Good command over Excel for reports, matrices, and test documentation
