Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand project requirements and identify opportunities for automated testing.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

- Execute automated test scripts to verify functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.

- Analyze test results and report defects using issue tracking tools, such as Jira or Bugzilla.

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test data sets.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

- Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on automation best practices and techniques.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).

- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, WebDriver, Cypress).

- Solid knowledge of API testing and test automation for web and mobile applications.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Must have:

- API Testing using POSTMAN experience.

- Functional testing experience and knowledge.

- Mobile testing experience.

- Jira tool and Excel experience.

- Should have experience of writing functional test cases and documenting bugs in Jira.

- Should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Good communication skills.

- JAVA, Javascript, or Python knowledge.

- Must have knowledge of Selenium.

- JAVA, Javascript, or Python experience.

- Cucumber experience.

Nice to have:

- Experienced in front end/UI automation e.g. Selenium, Cypress.

- Proactive personality and able to work autonomously.

- Ability to work at detailed and abstract levels.

- Ability to guide junior team members.

- Solid experience of estimating, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts for multiple application platforms like web, mobile and desktop, using Selenium.

- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts and should be able to apply them in test automation script development or framework design.
