Job Description :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend APIs using Node.js and related frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.

- Develop high-performance, reliable, and maintainable backend services using JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Implement Kafka for event-driven architecture, asynchronous communication, and real-time data processing.

- Implement Redis for caching, session management, queues, and improving application performance.

- Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services.

- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.

- Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues effectively to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize database queries and application performance.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless application integration.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and engineering practices.

- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the Node.js and backend ecosystem.

Qualifications :

- 2 - 4 years of professional experience as a Node.js Developer or Backend Developer.

- Strong knowledge of Node.js, including asynchronous programming, event loop, modules, streams, and error handling.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript, with a good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Hands-on experience with Express.js and/or NestJS.

- Strong experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-driven architecture.

- Good understanding and practical experience with Redis, including caching, key-value storage, queues, and performance optimization.

- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.

- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is a plus.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
