Description :

We are looking for an experienced Ansible Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible. The ideal candidate will play a key role in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and DevOps enablement, while mentoring teams and defining best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployments

- Create reusable Ansible roles and modules following best practices

- Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, etc.)

- Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams

- Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize performance

- Implement Ansible Tower / AWX for centralized automation and role-based access

- Ensure security, compliance, and version control in automation workflows

- Document automation processes, standards, and runbooks

- Mentor team members and act as a technical escalation point

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (Core, Roles, Playbooks, Modules)

- Experience with Ansible Tower / AWX

- Proficiency in YAML, Python, and Linux/Unix

- Good understanding of configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Experience with version control systems (Git)

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
