About the Role :
We're looking for a skilled and passionate Engineer, QA with a strong focus on Automation to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our technology solutions, directly contributing to delightful customer experiences for Kmart, Target, and Anko. Key Responsibilities :
- Test Strategy & Execution : Collaborate with development teams and product owners to understand requirements, define test strategies, create comprehensive test plans, and execute automated and manual tests.
- Defect Management : Identify, document, and accurately track defects using JIRA, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Automation Framework Enhancement : Contribute to the continuous improvement and expansion of our existing automation frameworks and tools.
- Agile Collaboration : Actively participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives), ensuring quality is embedded throughout the process.
- Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis : Effectively document and troubleshoot complex issues, performing initial root cause analysis to provide actionable insights to developers.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure the overall quality of software products through rigorous testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Reporting : Provide regular updates on test progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics to project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Automation Expertise : Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Agile Methodologies : Strong experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Test & Defect Management : Proficiency in tracking test cases and managing defects using tools like JIRA.
- Problem-Solving : Proven experience as a QA Tester or a similar Tester role, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Education : Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or any equivalent Graduate degree.
