We are looking for skilled and passionate Android Framework / Middleware Developers with strong experience in the Automotive domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Android AOSP, Framework development, and experience working with AIDL, HIDL, JNI, and either Java or C++ on Linux. Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Android framework and middleware components for automotive platforms.

- Customize and integrate Android AOSP for automotive-specific use cases.

- Implement and manage AIDL/HIDL interfaces for HAL and service layers.

- Develop and debug JNI components and bridge native C++ code with Java/Kotlin frameworks.

- Collaborate with hardware, platform, and application teams to ensure seamless integration.

- Analyze and optimize system performance, memory usage, and boot time.

- Maintain clear documentation of architecture, design, and implementation.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 9 years of experience in Android framework/middleware development.

- Solid understanding of Android AOSP internals, services, and architecture.

- Proficient in AIDL, HIDL, and JNI integration.

- Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++.

- Experience with Linux operating systems and embedded environments.

- Automotive domain experience is mandatory.

- Experience with CAN, MOST, or other automotive protocols is a plus.

- Familiarity with Android Automotive OS is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with debugging tools like adb, logcat, gdb, strace.

- Knowledge of Yocto, BitBake, or Android build systems.

- Exposure to Android security frameworks and SELinux policies.

- Understanding of IVI systems and infotainment stacks.
