Android Engineer - Mobile App Architecture

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Android Framework AWS JAVA Architect proficient in both C++ and Java, with strong experience in Android Framework and IoT-based device management solutions using AWS.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about embedded development, Android internals, and capable of driving technical excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work extensively on Android framework & architecture, including Android Internals, NDK, and TREBLE architecture.

- Develop and debug Android HAL, HIDL, AIDL, BINDER layers; experience with Automotive HAL is a plus.

- Implement and manage IoT frameworks with integration to AWS for device management.

- Handle Android porting, customization, and migration to new hardware platforms or Android versions.

- Use tools like Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD systems for efficient software delivery.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, driving sprint planning, development, and delivery.

- Create and maintain software design documents using UML, Enterprise Architect, or MagicDraw.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring code quality and performance.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, QA, and Hardware teams.

Required Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of Android Framework, Android Internals, and NDK.

- Hands-on experience with Android TREBLE, HAL, HIDL, AIDL, and BINDER.

- Familiarity with IoT protocols and AWS IoT Core/device management.

- Proficient in Android debugging, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.

- Experience with Android Porting and Migration.

- Exposure to tools like Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps practices.

- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and product lifecycle.

- Familiarity with UML design tools such as Enterprise Architect and Magic Draw.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
