Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Android Device Test Engineer to join our team and support validation and quality assurance efforts for Android devices, with a focus on both hardware and software aspects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mobile device testing, automation, and issue management processes, particularly around the latest A15/A16 platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform functional and performance testing on Android-based mobile devices.

- Write and execute test cases based on hardware/software requirement specifications.

- Test features specific to A15 / A16 SoC platforms.

- Automate test cases using scripting tools or frameworks (e.g., Python, Shell, etc.).

- Collect logs, conduct KPI testing, and analyze logs for root cause identification.

- Maintain high productivity levels (e.g., executing 50+ test cases per day).

- Document and report issues clearly in JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.

- Work collaboratively with development and QA teams to ensure quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with Android device testing and validation.

- Familiarity with A15 / A16 chipset features and capabilities.

- Strong understanding of writing test cases from hardware/software requirement specifications.

- Experience with test automation scripting.

- Knowledge of KPI testing and performance metrics for mobile devices.

- Ability to collect and analyze device/system logs.

- Prior experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking tools.

- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Ability to meet or exceed daily test execution targets.
