Android Developer - Mobile App Designing

Key Responsibilities :

- OTT Focus : Specifically contribute to and enhance our Android OTT applications, ensuring seamless content delivery and an engaging viewing experience.

- Language Proficiency : Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily using Java and Kotlin.

- API Integration : Integrate Android applications seamlessly with backend services using RESTful APIs.

- Mobile UI Design : Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, applying best practices in mobile UI design.

- Version Control : Utilize version control (Git) effectively for collaborative development, code management, and branching strategies.

- Agile Methodologies : Work effectively within Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.

- Troubleshooting & Debugging : Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring application stability and performance.

- Performance Optimization : Continuously optimize Android applications for performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android application development.

- Hands-on experience developing for Android (mobile) platforms.

- Experience with Android TV development or Android OTT applications is highly preferred.

- Solid understanding and experience with RESTful APIs for client-server communication.

- Familiarity with best practices in mobile UI design and user experience.

- Proficiency with version control (Git).

- Experience working with Agile methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
