Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Job Description :

Strong early-career Android Developer Profile with hands-on Kotlin/Java and Android SDK experience.

Mandatory Requirements :

- Experience 1 : Must have 0-2 years of experience building Android apps, with at least 6 months of hands-on experience (internship experience counts for freshers).

- Experience 2 : Must have built two or more apps; anything live on the Play Store.

- Skill 1 : Must have a solid grip on Kotlin and/or Java and the Android SDK.

- Skill 2 : Must be familiar with the usual toolkit - Retrofit/OkHttp, RxJava or Coroutines, Gson, Jetpack/Arch components, and Room.

- Skill 3 : Must be comfortable with an app architecture pattern (MVVM) and Git.

- Skill 4 : Must have a feel for good vs bad design and common mobile UX patterns.

- Company Background : Must come from a strong B2C product company.

- Education : Must have a B.Tech from a Tier-1 college - IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, IIITs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and test Android applications using Kotlin/Java and Android SDK

- Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements

- Build and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient mobile applications

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android development
