Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership : Drive the technical vision for our Android applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and clean code architecture.

- Feature Development : Architect, build, and maintain high-quality features using modern Android technologies and tools.

- Team Guidance & Mentorship : Lead, mentor, and foster the growth of agile engineering teams. Conduct constructive code reviews and promote a culture of continuous learning.

- Architecture & Optimization : Maintain and scale modern architectures (MVVM), while aggressively optimizing app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.

- CI/CD & Automation : Own and optimize the mobile CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless, automated testing, building, and deployment processes.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to define product requirements and deliver optimal user experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Core Languages : Deep expertise and production experience with Kotlin and Java.

- Modern UI Frameworks : Strong proficiency in Jetpack Compose for building declarative, dynamic user interfaces.

- Android Ecosystem : Mastery of the Android SDK, core design principles, and material design guidelines.

- Architecture : In-depth understanding of MVVM architecture, dependency injection (e.g., Hilt/Dagger), and asynchronous programming (Coroutines/Flow).

- Networking & Data : Robust experience integrating with REST APIs and managing local storage/caching strategies.

- DevOps & Performance : Proven track record implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins) and using profiling tools for Performance Optimization.

- Leadership Experience : Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, managing deliverables, and mentoring junior/mid-level developers.

Nice-to-Have (Optional) :

- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

- Familiarity with reactive programming or functional programming concepts.

- Experience publishing and managing apps on the Google Play Store.
