About the Role :

- We are looking for an experienced Android Developer proficient in Java and Kotlin to join our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in SaaS-based product development, preferably in the communication or collaboration domain. You will work on enhancing and scaling a real-time collaboration platform serving global users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.

- Collaborate with backend, UI/UX, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

- Optimize performance for scalability, reliability, and low latency.

- Integrate APIs and third-party SDKs for real-time communication features (chat, voice, video).

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and Firebase.

- Good understanding of MVVM architecture, Jetpack components, and Android design patterns.

- Experience in SaaS or collaboration platform development is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with video conferencing, chat SDKs, or real-time communication frameworks.

- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a distributed environment.
