Job Description

Responsibilities :

- Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.

- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

- Provide developers with high-level test cases for the stories before code is written.

- Prioritize and plan testing activities along with automation.

- Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved.

- Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.

- Configuring, using, and managing test environments and test data.

Leadership and Communication :

- As a senior role, effective communication and leadership skills are essential.

- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent project execution.

- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.

Test Automation :

- Automation is a critical aspect of QA.

- Senior QA Engineers design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.

- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or other testing frameworks is valuable.

Performance Testing :

- Senior QA Engineers assess system performance, scalability, and reliability.

- They use tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, or other tools to simulate heavy loads and analyze system behavior.

Security Testing :

- Understanding security vulnerabilities and conducting security testing is crucial.

- Knowledge of OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities and tools like Burp Suite or ZAP is beneficial.

Agile and DevOps :

- Many organizations follow Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Senior QA Engineers participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery.

- Ensuring the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled during release and iteration planning
