About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our growing Data & Insights team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, building scalable and maintainable data models that empower business decision-making across sales, supply chain, marketing, and finance.

You will be instrumental in transforming raw data into trusted, business-ready datasets using DBT, integrating data from SAP systems, and delivering insights through Snowflake in a CPG context.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain modular, well-documented DBT models for core business domains

- Translate complex business logic and raw data into clean, accessible, and governed datasets

- Work with SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, BPC, etc.) data sources to extract relevant information and model it effectively

- Design and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouses, ensuring performance and cost-efficiency

- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and version control for DBT projects (using Git)

- Support data quality, observability, and documentation standards

- Maintain a deep understanding of CPG domain KPIs and reporting needs (e.g., trade spend, route-to-market, retail analytics, etc.)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

- 2-6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or BI Development

- Strong experience with DBT (dbt Cloud or dbt Core)

- Experience working with SAP datasets familiarity with SAP tables, data structures, and ETL best practices

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and writing performant SQL at scale

- Proficient in building data pipelines, data modeling (star/snowflake schema), and transformation logic

- Knowledge of CPG industry metrics and workflows

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with BI tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau

- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and security best practices

- Exposure to data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)

- Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies
