Amura Marketing Technologies - Python Developer - Flask/Django

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Python Developer to join our development team.
The ideal candidate will have experience building robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Python and modern frameworks.
You will work on various client and internal projects that demand clean architecture, efficient code, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based web applications and RESTful APIs.

- Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI to build scalable services.

- Integrate with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and third-party services.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best coding practices (e.g., PEP8).

- Implement unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews.

- Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and support deployment.

- Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver features

end-to-end.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

- Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and security.

- Apply best practices for data handling, authentication, and error handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 3-5 years of professional experience with Python.

- Experience in at least one Python web framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).

- Hands-on with REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations.

- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

Bonus / Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.

- Experience with Celery, Redis, or message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
