Job Title : TypeScript Solutions Engineer (Contract)

Work Hours : 8 AM to 5 PM EST (must be willing to work EST hours)

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled TypeScript Solutions Engineer on a contract basis to support both presales and customer success functions. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with the ability to interact directly with customers, understand their requirements, and deliver high-quality technical solutions and demonstrations.

The candidate will work closely with internal teams including Product, SRE, and Support, and will be responsible for building prototypes, integrating various APIs, and assisting customers through the technical lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and product demos using technologies such as NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and Express/NestJS.

- Support presales activities by understanding customer needs and showcasing product capabilities through tailored demonstrations.

- Collaborate with Customer Success to provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful customer onboarding and retention.

- Manage and maintain technical relationships with clients, acting as a primary technical point of contact.

- Create and manage integrations with REST, WebSocket, and FIX APIs, ensuring reliable data flow and interoperability.

- Work with cloud data pipelines using systems such as BigQuery or Snowflake to support data processing and analytics workflows.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams-including Product, SRE, and Support-to resolve technical issues and contribute to product improvements.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with NodeJS and TypeScript, with strong coding and debugging proficiency.

- Strong understanding of REST and WebSocket APIs, including building, consuming, and troubleshooting integrations.

- Good working knowledge of SQL and experience with cloud-based relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Experience with ELT tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte, or dbt for data movement and transformation.

- Experience deploying solutions on AWS or GCP, including working with cloud-native services.

- Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing applications.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work directly with Sales and Customer Success teams to support technical discussions and client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the fintech or trading domain, especially involving real-time data or market connectivity.

- Knowledge of Kafka or Redis Streams for streaming and event-driven architectures.

- Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID, or SAML for authentication and authorization workflows.

- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
