We are seeking highly skilled Agentic AI Engineers with deep expertise in GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, and modern generative AI workflows. This is a unique hybrid role that blends hands-on engineering, AI-driven development, curriculum creation, and technical training for a team of ~50 software engineers.

The ideal candidate is both an exceptional AI-powered developer and an outstanding mentor who can guide engineering teams in leveraging agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and AI-first development practices. Flexibility is essential, as training schedules and engineer rotations may evolve based on program needs.

Key Responsibilities :

AI-Driven Training & Enablement :

- Design, develop, and deliver structured developer sprints focused on GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, and agentic AI workflows.

- Lead live coding demonstrations, hands-on labs, real-time debugging sessions, and collaborative coding workshops.

- Mentor development teams on :

1. Prompt engineering

2. Workflow automation

3. Intelligent feature implementation

4. Debugging with AI tools

5. Secure and responsible AI adoption

Curriculum & Content Creation :

- Develop instructional materials including training curriculum, documentation, guidelines, recorded demos, and best-practice resources.

- Continuously iterate on training content based on participant progress, feedback, and advancement in AI tooling.

AI Practices & Governance :

- Promote secure, compliant, and ethical usage of generative AI tools across engineering teams.

- Guide developers in understanding Copilot Enterprise and Amazon Q for Business features such as :

1. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

2. Internal codebase reasoning

3. Agentic orchestration

4. Multi-step workflows and MCP integrations

Technical Leadership & Collaboration :

- Collaborate with engineering managers, AI program leads, and DevOps teams to align AI enablement with business objectives.

- Serve as a subject-matter expert on generative AI development workflows and agentic system design.

Required Skills & Experience :

Generative AI Expertise :

- Hands-on experience with agentic orchestration, model context protocol (MCP), and multi-agent AI workflows.

- Expert user of GitHub Copilot (coding assistance, Copilot Chat agents, enterprise features).

- Advanced experience with Amazon Q, especially its /dev commands and business-focused capabilities.

- Strong understanding of RAG pipelines, codebase reasoning, embeddings, and context strategies.

Prompt Engineering & AI Development :

- Advanced prompt engineering techniques for :

1. Code generation

2. Debugging

3. Refactoring

4. Multi-step agentic tasks

- Working knowledge of foundational LLM concepts, responsible AI principles, and security practices.

Engineering & DevOps Knowledge :

- Experience with version control and collaboration workflows (GitHub Flow, branching strategies).

- Intermediate understanding of cloud and DevOps concepts :

1. AWS services

2. IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)

3. CI/CD pipelines

Instructional & Communication Competencies :

- Proven experience in technical training, workshops, or developer enablement.

- Strong mentoring ability with patience, empathy, and adaptability.

- Excellent live coding skills for real-time demonstrations.

- Solid technical writing skills for post-sprint documentation and resources.

- Ability to tailor concepts to engineers of varying experience levels.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS certifications or Cloud/DevOps certifications.
