Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled AMS Verification Engineer with strong expertise in mixed-signal verification methodologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining verification strategies, building test environments, and ensuring first-time-right silicon success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive verification activities for high-performance semiconductor products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute AMS verification plans based on functional requirements.
- Interpret JEDEC specifications (DDR interface) and establish robust verification methodologies.
- Develop testbenches, run scripts, and mixed-signal simulation environments using Cadence AMS flow.
- Implement self-checking testcases/models and ensure functional coverage closure.
- Perform chip-level mixed-signal verification and debug complex design/test issues.
- Collaborate with design, analog, and digital teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Prepare schedules, track progress, and raise risks/issues proactively.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering / VLSI / Microelectronics.
- 4-6 years of industry experience in AMS Verification.
- Strong knowledge of analog & digital design fundamentals.
- Hands-on expertise with Cadence AMS tools.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and scripting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to low-power verification methodologies.
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog/UVM for digital verification.
- Experience with mixed-signal co-simulation environments.
