Job Title :

Manager, Engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of C++ Software Developers, Qas, Business Analyst.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture and has accountability for their performance and results.

- Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.

- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan.

- Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.

- Implement and promote Agile methodologies within the team.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Work closely with Product Managers to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and align development efforts with business goals.

- Provide technical direction and support to the development team.

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software by implementing robust testing and code review processes.

- Encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Technical Excellence :

- Timely manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries.

- Collaborate with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.

- Proficiency in C++ with DB experience in a distributed environment.

- Good to have Cloud knowledge and exposure to other tech stack like Java, Python etc.

- Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (e.g, Scrum, Kanban).

- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Experience working closely with Product Managers and other cross-functional teams.

Communication :

- Ensure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding company/organization information.

- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including Product Managers, designers, and other development teams.
