Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Alveo/Asset Control professional to join our MDS team at Mizuho. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Alveo products and financial data management, along with expertise in scripting and system administration. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data management, normalization, and consolidation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, manage, and optimize Alveo products, including Formula Engine, IECL, Normalization, Consolidation, Price Consolidation, AC Prime, and AC desktop clients.

- Work on Unix/Linux environments, utilizing Git/Bitbucket for version control and Bamboo/JIRA for project management.

- Develop and maintain bash and Perl scripts for automation and system operations.

- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance data processes and ensure efficiency in Alveo implementations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Alveo systems, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in financial data management and Alveo product suite.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Alveo products, including but not limited to Formula Engine, IECL, Normalization, and AC Prime.

- Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and experience working with Git/Bitbucket, Bamboo, and JIRA.

- Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash and Perl.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience working with OPS 360, a new Alveo product.

- Knowledge of Cronacle Scheduler for job scheduling and automation.

- Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL for application development and data management.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Alveo/Asset Control and financial data management.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
