Role Summary :

The SAP SD Consultant is a senior-level functional lead responsible for the end-to-end implementation and support of Sales and Distribution processes within the S/4HANA Public Cloud environment. With over 7 years of experience, you will act as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through the complexities of cloud-based digital transformation. This role demands a deep technical understanding of S/4HANA's "Fit-to-Standard" approach, where you will manage everything from initial requirement gathering to the configuration of complex pricing, taxation, and localized e-Invoicing solutions. You will be the primary lead for integrating SD with Professional Services (PS), managing high-level production support (L2/L3), and ensuring seamless business continuity during hyper-care and post-go-live phases.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Implementation: Lead SAP SD workstreams for S/4HANA Public Cloud projects, adhering to the SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard workshops.

- Process Configuration: Perform advanced configuration of Sales Documents (Orders, Deliveries, Billing), Pricing Procedures, and Condition Techniques.

- Localization & Compliance: Implement and maintain country-specific localization settings, specifically focusing on e-Invoicing and statutory taxation requirements.

- Functional Design & Documentation: Author high-quality Functional Specifications (FS) and process maps, translating business requirements into standard SAP Cloud capabilities.

- Cross-Module Integration: Architect and manage the integration of SD with Project Systems (PS) and Professional Services modules to support complex billing and resource-related invoicing.

- Production Support (L2/L3): Resolve complex production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical system failures during steady-state and hyper-care periods.

- Testing Lifecycle Management: Lead and execute comprehensive testing cycles, including Unit Testing, Business Process Testing (Integration), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Stakeholder Management: Manage client expectations and collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure global templates are adapted to local requirements.

- Change Management & Training: Conduct end-user training sessions and create instructional manuals to ensure high system adoption and user proficiency.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system optimization and the adoption of new features released in S/4HANA Public Cloud quarterly updates.

Technical Requirements :

- Core Functional Experience: 56+ years of dedicated SAP SD functional experience with a total career span of 713 years.

- S/4HANA Public Cloud: Mandatory hands-on experience with at least one full-cycle S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.

- Order-to-Cash (O2C): Deep mastery of the O2C cycle, including Credit Management, Availability Check (aATP), and Output Management (BRF+).

- Integration Expertise: Proven experience in integrating SD with Professional Services and Project Systems (PS).

- Pricing & Tax: Advanced knowledge of VOFM routines, condition contracts, and tax engine integrations.

- Documentation Standards: Proficiency in creating professional-grade Business Blueprint (BBP) documents and functional specs.

- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to perform data migration activities using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.

Preferred Skills :

- SAP Certification: Official SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA Cloud (public) - Sales is highly desirable.

- Global Exposure: Experience working with international clients and understanding multi-currency/multi-language system requirements.

- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with the SAP Activate Methodology and Agile project delivery tools like SAP Cloud ALM or Jira.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for lead-level client interactions and workshop facilitation.

- Solution-Oriented Mindset: Proactive approach to resolving "deadlocks" in business processes using standard SAP best practices.
