Role Overview :
As an Alteryx Workflow Engineer, you will be at the forefront of building and optimizing data pipelines that drive critical business decisions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into efficient and scalable Alteryx workflows. Your work will directly impact the organization's ability to extract valuable insights from data, improve operational efficiency, and gain a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop robust Alteryx workflows to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for various data sources.
- Optimize existing Alteryx workflows to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability for enhanced data processing efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Alteryx solutions that address specific business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Alteryx workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Alteryx workflows to minimize disruptions to data processing and reporting.
- Implement data quality checks and validation rules within Alteryx workflows to ensure data accuracy and reliability for informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of data warehousing solutions by integrating Alteryx workflows with data warehouse platforms.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy complex Alteryx workflows for data integration and analysis, with 5-12 years of experience.
- Proven expertise in using Alteryx Designer to build ETL processes, manipulate data, and create analytical models.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts, with the ability to write complex queries to extract and transform data.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies, including data modeling, schema design, and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in Alteryx workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with team members both in-person and remotely.
