About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Alteryx / Fabric Consultant to lead a key initiative: migrating existing workflows from Alteryx to Microsoft Fabric. This is a 6+ month, full-time, remote position based in India, with the possibility of extension.

As an Alteryx / Fabric Consultant, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing a repeatable framework for future migrations. You'll work directly with business stakeholders, scope workflows, and perform hands-on migrations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a strategic mindset for building reusable assets and processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Workflow Migration : Perform hands-on migration of workflows from Alteryx to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring accuracy and performance.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work directly with business units to understand their needs, scope migration projects, and provide regular updates.

- Framework Development : Help develop a repeatable framework and methodology for future Alteryx to Fabric migration efforts.

- Documentation and Enablement : Create comprehensive documentation, including guides, FAQs, and best practices, to build reusable assets for broader team enablement.

- Technical Expertise : Utilize your expertise in both Alteryx and Microsoft Fabric (specifically Dataflows, Notebooks, and Fabric-native tools) to design and implement efficient solutions.

- Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications :

- Expertise in Alteryx : Extensive hands-on experience with the Alteryx Designer platform, including building complex workflows.

- Expertise in Microsoft Fabric : Deep technical knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, particularly with Dataflows, Notebooks, and other native tools.

- Deep, hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer for building complex data preparation and analysis workflows.

- Proficiency in various Alteryx tools (e.g., In/Out, Preparation, Join, Parse, Transform, and Predictive tools).

- Experience with Alteryx Server is a plus.

- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Fabric.

- Proficiency in key Fabric components, including Dataflows Gen2 for data transformation.

- Experience with Notebooks using languages like Python or Spark/PySpark for data engineering and analysis tasks.

- Familiarity with other Fabric-native tools and concepts (e.g., Lakehouses, Warehouses, Pipelines).

- Proven experience in migrating data and workflows between different platforms, specifically from Alteryx to Fabric.

- Understanding of data lineage, data validation, and ensuring data integrity during migration.
