Role Description :

Responsible for administering and maintaining data integration platforms (on-premises and cloud environments). Duties include performance monitoring, backup and recovery, user access management, workflow scheduling, platform upgrades, and providing multilevel technical support.

Role Responsibility :

- Administer and maintain the data integration platform, ensuring high availability and optimized performance across on-premises and cloud.

- Implement and manage backup, restore, and archival processes suitable for hybrid environments.

- Monitor platform health, analyze metrics, and execute capacity planning and resource optimization.

- Manage workflow/job scheduling and orchestration for efficient execution.

- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and version control with minimal downtime.

- Configure and maintain user roles, permissions, and access controls securely.

- Provide multi-level technical support, addressing issues from basic to complex troubleshooting.

- Support the deployment and migration of workflows and related components.

- Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements.

- Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, workflows, and incident logs.

- Generate reports on platform usage, performance, and user activity.

- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams for platform integration and optimization.

- Design and implement scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery strategies.

Role Requirement :

- Experience managing data integration platforms in both on-premises and cloud environments.

- Strong knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies for hybrid setups.

- Proficiency in performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning across cloud and on-prem systems.

- Familiarity with scheduling and orchestration tools for diverse infrastructures.

- Expertise in user access control, roles, and permissions management.

- Skilled in platform upgrades, patching, and deployment processes.

- Understanding of security and compliance requirements across cloud and on-prem platforms.

- Strong documentation and collaboration skills.

- Up-to-date knowledge of cloud and on-prem data integration technologies and best practices.

Additional Requirement :

- Proven experience in Alteryx Server administration, including installation, configuration, and environment setup.

- Skilled in managing Alteryx Gallery, Controller, Worker, and Database components.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing user roles, collections, and studio permissions in the Alteryx Server Admin interface.

- Experience with scheduling workflows, managing job queues, and handling job prioritization in Alteryx Server.

- Ability to deploy, migrate, and troubleshoot Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic apps across environments.

- Expertise in monitoring server health, workflow execution logs, and optimizing server performance using Alteryx logs and built-in diagnostics.

- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for Alteryx Server assets and configuration settings.

- Ability to configure and manage Active Directory integration and LDAP for user authentication and authorization.

- Experience with upgrades, patching, and version management of Alteryx Server.

- Familiarity with Alteryx usage reports, server APIs, and audit logging for governance and compliance tracking.

- Experience in providing Tiered Support (L1 to L3) for platform users, including issue triaging, environment troubleshooting, and advanced workflow debugging.

- Understanding of Alteryx licensing models, activation methods, and license key management.

- Familiarity with server hardening, SSL certificate management, and enforcing security best practices in Alteryx environments.
