Role Overview :

The Technology Product Manager plays a critical role in enabling the technology team to achieve its operational and delivery goals.

This position focuses on driving technology projects, platform enhancements, audits, and cross-functional collaboration, while remaining hands-on with core systems and data.

The role requires strong experience in SQL, Yardi (or similar fund/property accounting platforms), a solid understanding of fund accounting principles, and the ability to manage and mentor a small team while acting as a key escalation and decision-making authority.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Delivery & Platform Ownership :

- Independently initiate, plan, and drive technology projects, system enhancements, and process improvements aligned with team and business objectives.

- Own the delivery of platform changes, automations, and system optimizations, ensuring stability, scalability, and audit readiness.

- Act as a hands-on contributor in solution implementation, leveraging strong SQL and Yardi expertise.

- Identify technical gaps and propose solution-oriented improvements beyond immediate responsibilities.

Systems, Data & Automation :

- Utilize advanced SQL to analyse data, troubleshoot issues, validate outputs, and support reporting and reconciliation.

- Work closely with technology and finance teams to support system integrations, automations, and data flows.

- Support audits and control reviews by ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and system compliance.

- Contribute to the adoption of new tools, platforms, or automations to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Team Leadership & Development :

- Lead and supervise a small technology or systems team, providing coaching, mentoring, and regular 1:1 feedback.

- Establish frameworks for process adherence, documentation, and operational excellence.

- Ensure team members receive appropriate training, guidance, and support to meet delivery and quality standards.

- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Finance, Product, Tech, Operations) and external partners.

- Act as the primary escalation point for unresolved system, data, or servicing issues.

- Represent the team in platform-wide initiatives such as onboarding, handovers, and transformation programs.

- Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

Experience :

- 8 to 12 years of experience in technology, systems, or platform roles within financial services, fund accounting, or real-estate domains.

- 3+ years in a lead, manager, or senior ownership role driving technology initiatives or system delivery.

- Proven experience managing cross-functional technology projects end-to-end.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.

- Deep working knowledge of Yardi (or equivalent fund/property accounting platforms).

- Solid understanding of fund accounting principles, financial data, and reporting processes.

- Experience supporting system integrations, automations, and data workflows.

- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, issue tracking tools, and documentation standards.
