- Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Train Control Engineers, Verification & Validation Leaders, Sub-System Engineers), manage the software development work-package, and much more.
- Youll specifically take care of ensuring the performance of executable code on target systems, as well as the management of subcontractors, but also contributing to the generation of the Quality Plan.

- Accountability for the delivery of Train Software modules and their integration.
- Deployment and application of development procedures, processes, and design rules.
- Ensuring proper management and traceability of hardware and software configurations.
- Maintaining and controlling project KPIs and reporting to the Software Domain Leader.
- Accountability for Software Validation.
- Managing work packages for subcontractors.

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on development experience in software phases (minimum of 12 years' experience).
- Experience leading the complete product lifecycle of at least 3 projects (minimum of 4 years experience).
- Proficiency in IEC61131-3 (FBD, ST, and SFC) or model-based development tools like ControlBuild, MATLAB/Simulink.
- Familiarity with real-time, distributed controllers and network protocols (MVB, CIP, TRDP, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485).
- Experience managing work packages for subcontractors.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of optimizing software development processes.
