Role Overview :

Were looking for a Program V&V Engineer to join our Global Product Automation & Validation team.

In this role, you will contribute to software verification and validation (V&V) activities for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Youll be deeply involved in test design, automation, and execution, collaborating closely with software, hardware, and system teams to validate next-generation rail solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and execute software validation and verification (V&V) activities for embedded systems in line with Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).

- Participate in defining and refining software specifications and architecture in collaboration with software designers and architects.

- Develop automated and manual test cases, including stubs, drivers, and simulation environments for host and target testing.

- Ensure compliance with software quality processes and standards (CMMI, Modal).

- Collaborate closely with technical leads, hardware teams, and RAMS engineers throughout the development lifecycle.

- Identify design and functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.

- Support project planning by providing effort estimations, schedules, and test reports.

- Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement within the validation function.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- 8 to 11 years of experience in V&V, software testing, or embedded systems validation.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Python for test automation.

- Working knowledge of Ethernet/IP networks, Wireshark, and wireless technologies (3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi).

- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (CRL, PKI, LDAP, NAC).

- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and debugging skills.

- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional setup.
