Job Description :

The Software Engineer Senior Consultant II implements applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. They own the full stack of software products, developing and implementing frontends (web or mobile), and backend services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provides input into the architecture and design of the product; collaborating with the team in solving problems the right way.

- Practices daily paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building product.

- Serves as an expert on a specific business domain and demonstrates leadership and accountability on at least one technology stack.

- Coaches more junior team members around different technologies and XP practices.

- Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices.

Essential Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in software development, system integration, and delivery, including automation of the software development lifecycle (build, test, release) through CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- 6+ years of experience developing scalable RESTful APIs and implementing event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

- Strong software development experience with multiple programming languages, preferably Java (Spring Boot) and Python.

- Practical experience working in Agile and eXtreme Programming (XP) environments, including pair programming, collaborative engineering practices, continuous integration, and iterative delivery.

Education :

- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
